As part of its commitment to holistic child development and wellness awareness, Seek Foundation organized a Yoga Day demonstration on 30th June 2025 at St. Joseph’s Primary School, East Tambaram. The session was led by Ms. Ananthi, a certified yoga instructor, and saw the active participation of 150 primary students.
The demonstration focused on simple yet powerful yoga asanas aimed at boosting energy, stamina, posture, and balance—crucial components in the growing years of young children. The session also emphasized how yoga helps improve concentration, memory, and encourages the practice of self-care and physical activity from a young age.
Beyond physical benefits, the program introduced children to the emotional and mental aspects of yoga, promoting calmness, emotional awareness, and stress management. Students learned that yoga is not just an exercise but a discipline that cultivates respect, kindness, and self-control, contributing to both individual growth and social harmony.
This initiative is a reflection of Seek Foundation’s mission to foster healthy, balanced, and empowered communities, starting with children. By integrating wellness practices like yoga, we aim to support the complete development of the next generation—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
