On 20 December 2024, Dr. Vimala Rani Britto, Founder of Seek Foundation, led a large-scale distribution drive to bring essential supplies to underserved communities. Upholding the Foundation’s commitment to women empowerment, child development, and tribal livelihood enhancement, the initiative served 3,500 beneficiaries with vital items such as rice, biscuits, bedsheets, dhotis, sarees, hand towels, children’s clothing, and sweets.
Dr. Vimala Britto personally visited the villages of Sundapatti, Vellarikombai, Koovakarai, Chalivayal, Kolipalam, Mankara, Kottadi, and Karuthadu, while Seek Foundation teams, in collaboration with St Britto’s Academy students, reached out to additional locations, including:
- Cankids T nagar
- Mahimai illam, Chengalpet
- CSI Home of Abundant Life, Chengalpet
- Zypsy (Poonthamalli)
- Alamathi (Redhills)
- Rehoboth (Somangalam)
- Eklavya Tribal School (Kumuzhi)
- Mithra Madras Institute (Anna Nagar East D-Block)
This approach not only ensured that relief reached a wider community but also provided St Britto’s Academy students with firsthand experience in NGO activities, instilling in them the values of charity and community service.
Seek Foundation’s continuing focus on empowering marginalized populations—particularly in tribal and rural regions—reflects its broader vision of fostering long-term economic self-reliance and sustainable development. By directly engaging both youth and local communities, the Foundation remains dedicated to shaping a more hopeful, compassionate, and inclusive future for everyone.
